Dear Sophia Bush,
I just wanted to let you know I am a HUGE fan of Taylor Swift. I went on twitter to spread love for her and her situation. And just some good vibes. Because that is what fans should do. But then I found some really hateful comments about certain celebrities who either defended one side of the situation, and or just didn't really stick up for Taylor in a way her fans felt they should. When I saw your name on the list of females who were "against" Taylor in some of the most accusatory tweets I ever seen, I was shocked. You always seemed so nice and wonderful. And you don't post hateful comments on social media.

You may post very politely worded disagreements with one's politics, personality or opinions. But never have I seen you be cruel. So I went to your twitter to search for this "crime" you committed against Taylor. And it wasn't there. I then asked the posters of these tweets what did Sophia do? I don't see a single post that attacked Taylor. They said she liked certain posts and that is the same as taking a side. Well no it's not the same as taking a side always. Sometimes if the opposing side in any given situation posts a valid point, I will like it to show I see their point. I don't necessarily agree 100% with everything I like. I simply get where a person is coming from when I like it.

I don't know what posts you liked, but I can't imagine they were bad enough that Taylor's fans would gang up on you like that. The one Taylor swift post I saw from you was a retweet of Carina Adly Mackenzie made while commenting "Taylor seems like a nice girl." I don't know how saying someone seems nice would cause such a fuss. But clearly no one seemed to have saw that post. I did. And I appreciated it as Taylor's fan.

Anyways I just wanted to also send love your way too. Since it seemed people were not being very nice to you recently. I am a HUGE fan of yours too. Since One Tree Hill. And as I said at the top of my post sending love and good vibes is what a fan should do. Many of these people posting claim to be a fan of yours as well as Taylor's. Well if that is true. Then they should learn a bit of kindness.

Love,
Your fan Jackie

Supernatural Season 14 Finale: The Monster At The End Of This Book.

Supernatural fans are getting all fired up over the announcement that next Season will be it's last. They are on edge. And they are getting pissed off at the characterization of a beloved character in last night's finale. Some strongly believe it wasn't really him. And that it was out of character. Let me break down Chuck's journey and why I don't think it's out of character. There's many clues throughout the seasons that suggest he's not the God you expect.

Andrew Dabb will write vague hints about what the episode is about on his twitter. The tweet for the finale read "writer's lie." Many times writer's will place things into episodes that "define" a character to fool the audience. This is done because they aren't ready to reveal who this character is. There was mystery surrounding God. Where is he? Why did he leave? What is he really like?

When we first meet God. He's pretending to be a Prophet. Clueless and oblivious. He's writing books. Called Supernatural. Which mirror Dean and Sam's life. Whatever he writes happens to them. The first episode Chuck Shirley appears in as the "prophet" is titled "The Monster At The End Of This Book." When Dean and Sam confront him Chuck says "Well, there's only one explanation. Obviously I'm a god... I'm definitely a god. A cruel, cruel, capricious God."

Fans only thought that hinted that he was God. But it hinted at a lot more. He didn't say he was just a God. He said he was a cruel and Capricious God. It went over Dean and Sam's heads at the time. Because it was supposed to. Just as it was supposed to go over the audiences head.

Supernatural is a very self aware show. That uses fourth wall breaking and Meta episodes to reveal key plot points about characters. And their development. Fans are used to show writer's misleading them as to what will happen next. To not reveal too much. "Writer's lie." And Supernatural writers aren't the exception to this. Sometimes what they provide as "Spoilers" aren't the full extent of what happens. Because why would they give it away. When they want you to watch. Chuck has been represented in different ways throughout each episode he's in. He never shows the same version of himself.

Before the reveal that he was God he was the awkward Chuck Shurley. Writer. And he played that role well. He dated super fan Becky. He went to conventions. And he promised Dean and Sam he'd stop publishing and writing books about them. He kept that promise and Becky leaked the unpublished books. So we're to assume he understands Dean's and Sam's objections. That he's stop writing. He's a good guy right? Well that's what the audience does assume.

Skip ahead to when he is talking to Metaron after he revealed he's God in the bar. He said he did a little bit of acting. He said it was fun. He was referring to his life as Chuck. This implies Chuck is a character he created. He said a lot of stuff as "God" in that episode. That made fans think well of him. But the show has never defined who God is. It has always put emphasis on him leaving. Abandoning people.

Another thing they put emphasis on is that he is a writer. The creator of worlds. The one pulling the strings. I always had a theory that just because he stopped writing the Supernatural books. Didn't mean he stopped writing The Winchester's story. That it was always a plot to him. Did I expect how true of a statement "Well, there's only one explanation. Obviously I'm a god... I'm definitely a god. A cruel, cruel, capricious god." would turn out to be? No. But it makes sense now the line.

Capricious:

adjective given to sudden and unaccountable changes of mood or behavior.

We've seen Chuck/God be capricious throughout the episodes. The word fits him. In Season 14 AU Michael tells Castiel that God is just a writer. He writes drafts after draft. That's all his universes are to him. That's all Castiel and his family is to him. When Sam brings up God in Season 14 after Mary dies. Dean says "God writes paperback books." More emphasis on him being a writer. When he shows up he wants the end to his show to play out how he wrote it. Verifies that everything he's ever said otherwise, is a lie. He says "I'm a writer. Writers tend to lie." The line from Dabb's tweet makes it's entrance into the episode.

The angels said from the beginning God doesn't care. Dean has said from the beginning God doesn't care. When Dean chooses free will at the end of the finale. And writes his own ending. Stands up to God. And says I won't kill Jack. Mary wouldn't want that either. God takes his ending back. And kills Jack. Not only does he kill his grandson for the sake of writing and story telling. Brings back all the monsters Dean and Sam have ever killed. You see Bloody Mary and the woman in white.

And he says "Fine! Welcome to the end."

The last line Welcome To the End. Was brilliant. And set up Season 15. Because Season 15 IS the end. The show will be over after the 20th episode of the season. Where will this end take us? I don't know. But Chuck wasn't out of character. He was showing his true colors. In full force. And what kind of God he really was. He confirmed that he is The Monster At The End Of The Book.

Dear TVD Family,

That's what we've grown to call the tvd fandom correct? As most shows who grow a huge fan base and have fans across the world become close and tight friends. And a good friend can easily be family. It's happend w/ a lot of shows. Where a fandom is a show's "family." Where the actors appreciate every single one of it's fans. Where they will also trend "#showsabbreviationfamily" on their twitters after live tweets. SPN, TVD, OTH, Arrow etc. But I get upset when a few in such fandoms don't act like "family."

Ever since Nina annouced she was leaving her hit show the uproar has been in full swing. It's okay to be sad over it . I am. Elena Gilbert is my favorite character. Both book and show wise. And I feel Nina brought to life LJ's beautiful character as best she could. She may not have been how the book described her at least, but Nina had my golden Girl's heart. I think she did a wonderful job! Not only as Elena, but multiple characters! Since the show replaced the book guardians with doppelgangers Miss Nina had a lot of work to do.

And she did all of it flawlessly. So with that said. By all means be sad. However it's not okay to be mad. It's not okay to be hostile to the show's writers, actors or the CW. This was Nina's choice! And as a "family" you should support the actress who appreciated your support all those years. You can't support an actress only when she is doing things you want her to do. That's so disrespectful, and not what a true fan does. And to say there is no show without Elena or a ship (Delena vs. Stelena) is absurd. A show's legs is not just one character or it's romances. A show survives on it's stories and those fans willing to see where things go no matter if romance is in the picture or not. Elena is not the only main character. In fact the story show or book wise has never been Elena's.

This story is about two brothers. It's always been the Salvatore's story. And those who entered their lives not the other way around. Caroline, Bonnie, Matt, and others are important somehow in these brothers story. When one story ends new ones get to begin. while we lose Elena's story. We gain Caroline's and Bonnie's. In the books Elena isn't in all of them. In fact some are from Bonnie's POV. And I know you'll say well this is the show but not the books. But just remember there would be no show without these books. So if the show starts making Bonnie the focus or other characters while Elena is gone. Well just think of it as being true to what helped started it all. So please be kind to Nina and wish her luck. And be a true fan and watch Season 7 and any other Seasons that might come along. Be beautiful people.

Sincerely, Jacqueline. M. Milom

My works

So I am discussing my works now with a friend over skype. She looked up Writing Letters To Morrison. And noticed in the bio on the back it said I was working on a novel called mending hearts and a second poetry book. The second poetry book is finished. Mending Hearts however it seems to be lost in the sea of computer troubles I usually have. I might have it on a disk somewhere if not sorry to those that expected it. I should be more careful with those sort of things. The second poetry book I hope to get published asap. Currently I am determined to finish the novel Letters that has absolutely nothing to do with writing Letters to Morrison and the title similarities were coincidental. I didn't even realize until I thought about it later. Well that's all I got for now. -Jax

I haven't posted in awhile on my official blog. But I have a new official site to which I'll be linking this blog soon on. But for now I wanted to post an open letter to Julie Plec the producer/writer of The vampire diaries. Why? Because I hate how much hate the poor woman gets on an every day basis. And I am constantly defending her on my tumblr page and to my friends and I get very passionate about how uncool it is too attack her. I never usually tweet directly to Julie because I don't use twitter often enough to catch her on and I sometimes don't feel she'll see it. But I finally signed onto twitter the other day and was inspired by TeamTSD. It has nothing to do with the contest though, I honestly feel like Julie Plec deserves more appreciation. So here read this and I hope you haters learn a lesson.

Dear Julie Plec,
I think you're an amazing writer. Producer. Person. You have three shows to work on, The Vampire Diaries, The Tomorrow People and The Originals. And all the fans of these shows I am sure are grateful to your hard work. As one who enjoys writing myself, I find it disappointing when people show their disapproval for a piece of writing in a less than nice way. I can guarantee no one knows my name, or any of the things I've written except for a select few. I'm not a best seller nor do I work on a hit television series, but I do know it hurts like hell when those that have read what I wrote tell me in the worst possible way they thought something "sucked." Feedback is good. Always. even "negative" as long as it's constructive, or even polite. So I'd like to say sorry on the behalf of the most rude TVD fans to grace the internet. And I'd like to say to the whole fandom not all of us are like that. In fact I find myself getting quite angry when I see a post on tumblr attempting to speak for the whole fandom and how much it hates you. To them I say, please just stop. I as a person in this fandom absolutely love you and the other writers. (Yes there are other writers that work on TVD). It's absolutely impossible to make everyone happy and there will be plots that people don't like. But that does not mean the show is ruined. Of course there's plots that make me scream at my television and ask why? But I still continue to watch. Though I am behind because I work on Thursday's nights. So I missed two episodes. But I'll get caught up eventually. The point is there won't always be story lines that please everyone. Because we're each a fan of different things and different characters. Elena fans are certainly not going to enjoy the Katherine take over, Delena fans will probably cry over the demise of those two at Katherine's hand. It's bound to happen, but If these fans honestly felt the show was ruined they wouldn't keep watching. These people are obviously spending time sending you tweets about episodes they clearly watched after angrily stating they would not anymore. I don't know what it is about these people. But I will never be one of them. If a ship I love sinks it's for a reason. If something bad happens to a character I love it's for a reason. I may be upset for these beloved characters but I will never be mad at the writing or those that work hard to write such wonderful scenes. Julie I think you're doing a great job!!! I have a TVD/TO buddy at work and we joke about how we turn into two teenage girls when talking about the shows. She is a huge fan of Stefan, I love Damon and Elijah! When I am not smiling at work she simply says think of Elijah! One day she said Jackie just think of Elijah and then started laughing at me. She told me I turned into a thirteen year old girl just there. I probably did. Elijah is my favorite Original and it makes me very happy when you post your Elijah love on your twitter. Thanks for giving Elijah awesome story lines. And also whoever brought the suits back thank you! We Elijah fans missed them! I follow you on twitter to see your lovely posts about the episodes or just things in general. Stay awesome Julie!

Love always, Jacqueline Milom

Sleep, love & time travel, and Holiday Charities

Dear people who visit this blog. That is if anyone actually does. It's time for me to ramble again. I Jacqueline Milom an independent writer who is far from full of herself, but pretends to be in hopes that someone will actually pay attention to her writings, (is it working yet?) have a lot to say.

Though I am sure that right there broke all sorts of grammatical rules and was a run on. But we'll forgive me for now because it's two in the morning. Anyways back on track. I just finished Timeless and now I am sad. You know that feeling of urgency when you read a book, that feeling where you just got to get to the end or you'll die? the dramatic feeling where you just can't sit still unless you find out what happens, and then you finally get to the end of the book and a depressing feeling takes over. That dark sad cloud that says oh no what will I do I finished, and it's the final book in the series and I won't have anymore of so and so character. Yet it's too soon to re-read it. Ugh. Michelle seems the type of author who doesn't disapprove of fan fiction. So I am sure there will be plenty of it for me to read. Anyone got links they can send me to? Anyways time for a slight review. Well...see...um...I don't really want to give anything away. I don't do reviews because I tend to spoil a lot. I am bad at that. So let me try my best. Short summary of the book. Well it's about love and time travel oh and Christmas. That's about as much as I could say without giving away anything super big. Can I just say I've seen too much Vampire diaries recently....every time the phrase always and forever was said in the book I kept picturing Daniel Gillies writing a gorgeous love note to Nina Dobrev. Aka Elijah and Elena. So...now that I got my minor random Elejah shipping moment out of the way that just was too random, I can get back to the task. (Though only those who watch TVD would get the joke and why always and forever tied into a vampire show)

Elizabeth Davenport has been cursed and see's a lot of dead crows in the beginning. Poor Crows. If anyone is wondering why Michelle chose crows it's probably because crows are often times associated with death, or darkness. A "flock" of crows is called a Murder of Crows. I am pretty sure flock is the wrong term here since well they are called Murder of Crows when they all fly together like that. It's said no one knows where the term Murder of Crows comes from but I am pretty sure it's simply just apart of the whole symbol of something bad. I could make a Damon Salvatore Crow joke here that would be more of a reference to the TVD books than the actual show as he turns into a crow more in the novels than he does in the tv series. But one random TVD nod is enough. And at least the other one was a romantic nod that almost fit the topic at hand. I get off topic in reviews on purpose ladies and gentlemen. It's my way of trying not to spoil everything. Keeping myself in check.

So Lizzie must go back to the beginning to fix it all alongside her best friend. Who was her FORMER best friend 1 and a half books ago. And now they're all buddy buddy let's stop this curse again! WOOOOHOOO that put a smile to my face. Then you get to the time travel part and realize every teen who was reincarnated in the series, has a different first name in the present besides Lizzie and Drew. However each first name still began with the same letter as their past selves. Catherine-Chelsea. James-Jeremy. Kate-Keelie. Now to ponder what Shannon, Amber and Hannah's past selves names would be! Then it turns into a super duper mystery and that's pretty fun. Should I say what kind of mystery? NO!!! it's a spoiler if I do. Let's just say Lady Givens aka Chelsea's mama from 1815 has a lot of explaining to do.

Yes I stayed up all night reading that book. I ended up passing out on a friend while we were having a What I like about you marathon. Now I am fairly wide awake and nowhere near sleep. So I decided to post on here and try to actually maintain this site and update it. I do intend to finish up the Companion and somehow publish it somewhere. I don't know where yet. or when but it'll happen. Also since Christmas is coming up and I am always in a giving mood I want to talk charities as always. Things you can always donate to that I support...Ian Somerhalder foundation especially for you animal lovers. Askargard.net hosts a lot of charities that Alexander Skarsgard supports, and of course I am gonna be putting up for sale on this site soon Writing Letters to Morrison and anything I make from it I'll donate to some charities. If I forget any links just remind me and I'll give you them when I am less out of it.
