These aren't in order of my favorites. Just ten I'd like to see made into a movie.
1. Remembrance by Michelle Madow
This is one of my favorite books I've read this year. Sweet love story about reincarnation.
2. The Witch of Blackbird pond
I don't know if this was ever made into a movie or not. I can't remember one of it, but this was one of my favorite books in Middle school. It was on a summer reading list, and after I wrote my paper on it, I read it again and again. In fact I used to make it a "tradition" to read it every summer. But lately I haven't been doing that.
3. Sookie stackhouse Novels
Yes I am aware it's a tv series True Blood on HBO, that I LOVE but I would love to see Charlaine Harris' vampire mysteries on the big screen as well
4. Vengeance
If I have Remembrance on this list I should have it's short story/novella sequel. Maybe you could combine both into one movie since the second book is so short. Then the third novel could be the sequel to that one :)
5. The Great Gatsby
I am well aware that this was already made into a film. I loved Robert Redford as Gatsby, but I'd love to see a remake of it with Blake Lively as Daisy. Maybe Henry Cavill as Gatsby :)
6. The worst witch
This was a series of novels, but I only read the first one. I am aware this was also a film as well as television series. The original film aired every Halloween on Disney until the late 1990's. I remember watching this movie every year. The original was released in 1986. But I would also love to see a remake of this with Selena Gomez as the title character "of the worst witch" Mildred Hubble.
7. Painted on my Heart
This is a bias choice I know. I am not even done with the book but I admit it is one of my favorites and I don't like what I write usually. I'd love to see who I picture as the characters on the screen.
8. The companion (short story)
Once more another bias choice. It's the second novella or book I wrote that I actually like enough to want to be turned into a film. fat chance though right?
9. Midnight sun
The likelihood of this is slim. It wasn't officially published and we only got 12 chapters of it. But a short film of Twilight from Edward's perspective would be interesting.
10. Elixir
yes it's a novel by Hilary duff. And I haven't finished it and might have to start over. I lost my spot, but what I read so far was amazing. And it'd make a great movie. Hilary is a great writer.
